Competencies - Can a user score themselves

I'm wanting to get the end users to score themselves against a set of competencies so that we can then do a Skills Gap Analyse - Is this possible ?

I've added competencies to end users but don't see them when they login - am I doing something incorrectly ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Neal,

actually user can score themselves, that's what the system is supposed to do. The piece you are missing is:
- link competencies to courses, not only to users (or, better, to roles). It's the "star" icon in the list of courses
- users who complete the courses actually do score themselves

Thanks Max - so they have to do a course to rate themselves - we were trying to use it so we could identify what courses they needed to do so as a 1st task they rate themselves which then drives our learning demand.

I'm still struggling to fully get competencies working.

I've created them, added them to a user and the course but cannot work out how the student rates themselves at the end of the course.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Neal, the user will obtain the competency score defined for a course by completing the course
