Defining a classroom

Post by scubatricky »

When creating an edition of a classroom course, I can set the classroom location.

However, i cannot find where in the system to define locations for classrooms? Can someone point me in the direction of where to define a classroom?

I've searched the documentation, but cannot find anything regarding the definition of a classroom setting.

In the back-end menu, E-Learning / Locations.

Yep, defined them there. When creating an edition of a course, those locations do not show up in the drop down box for Classroom, on the last page of of the Wizard (Details)

Are you a God Admin? Differently, you'll have your Admin assigned to the locations to see them in the select.

Everything is created as god admin, everything is being viewed as god admin.

You're missing something... Unfortunately, there's no official documentation for this feature.

My guess is that you defined the locations as physical locations but did not add the classrooms.

For instance: define the "Rome" location, that's the first step.
then add "Blue classroom" and "Red classroom", the two actual classrooms where the courses will be held.

When you do that, your locations will display in the drop down menu.

Thanks, that makes sense. The documentation needs to be a little more detailed to cover this. Do you want me to contribute?
